The International Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio aims at providing a robust and advanced knowledge in the principal subjects of Civil Engineering. It prepares graduates to design constructions, infrastructures, systems, processes within the different fields of Civil Engineering such as constructions (new and old buildings, industrial buildings, historical constructions, etc.) infrastructures (bridges, dams, tunnels, etc.), systems (water resources systems, water and waste treatment system, transport systems, etc., etc.), processes (groundwater and contamination processes, etc.), hydraulic and land defense works. The graduate will learn to deal with the technical aspects of the entire process of planning, design, realization, and management of civil engineering projects and systems.
The program is developed with a double vision: from one side, it is strongly rooted in the solid tradition of civil engineering while, from the other, it includes the most innovative aspects of the civil engineering contemporary world with a specific reference to the environmental and sustainability issues.
The course’s aim is also to train newly graduated engineers for professional work within an international context. A Dual Degree agreement with the Tandon School of Engineering at NYU (USA) is also available. Furthermore, international agreements, within the Erasmus + or others programs, allow students to spend part of their studies abroad.
The program is addressed to talented students with a Bachelor's Degree (or a first-cycle degree equivalent to the Italian Laurea) in Civil and Environmental Engineering or others equivalent degree.
