Exchange Programs

Erasmus+ Mobility
The Erasmus+ Mobility is sponsored by the European Union and allows students to spend part of their university career, from three to twelve months, in another European university. This program grants the following benefits:

  • the students may apply for a scholarship to partly cover traveling and living expenses;
  • the educational activities included in the learning agreement and completed in the host university are recognized by the home university (students may earn up to 30 ETCS credits per semester);
  • the tuition fees at the host university (but not those of the institute of origin) are fully waived.

The University of Cassino and Southern Lazio offers several destinations in the areas of Mechanical Engineering. The call for applications is usually released in March and published on the website of International Office. The mobility must take place anytime between September and August of the following year. Applicants are selected on the basis of the academic record, the knowledge of the language required by the host university, the motivation, and the ability to adapt to a different culture. For additional information or inquiries, refer to the personnel of the International Office.

Erasmus+ Traineeship
The Erasmus+ Traineeship is sponsored by the European Union and allows students to do a placement in enterprises, training centers, research centers, and organizations of other European countries. This program allows students to acquire specific skills and a better understanding of the social and economic culture of the host country with the aim to promote the mobility of young workers throughout Europe.

The call for applications is published on the website of International Office. Be aware that the application deadline may be scheduled well in advance of the beginning of the activities. For additional information or inquiries, refer to the personnel of the International Office.

The training project at the host company/institution must be previously approved by a university advisor (12 ECTS).
